General sales conditions

The general sales conditions herein apply without restriction to all hotel room bookings made by the client on the hotel website. The client must read them before making any booking, and accept them in order to confirm their booking. The general sales conditions herein can be consulted at any time on the hotel website. These general sales conditions may be subject to change at a later date, and the version applicable to the client’s purchase is the one in place on the hotel website on the date the client made their purchase. When a client confirms their booking, they accept fully and without restriction the general sales conditions herein.

 

Cancellation conditions:

You may cancel your booking by clicking the link provided in your confirmation email and following the instructions onscreen. If your booking included booking fees, pleased note that these are not refundable. We advise clients wishing to cancel their booking to do so as early as possible.

 

Bookings:

Non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-modifiable rates:

Prepaid bookings cannot be modified or cancelled under any circumstances. Sums paid in advance as deposits cannot be reimbursed. These restrictions are detailed in the sales conditions for the rate in question. 

Flexible rates:

Reservations with flexible rates can be cancelled without cost until one day before arrival (before midday CET). If the client does not present themselves for check-in, or cancels late, the full amount due for the first night will be billed. For each booking, a pre-authorisation will be made using the card details supplied. The card used for the online booking must be presented at check-in.

The rates offered are displayed in euros and include all applicable taxes. Any change of the VAT applicable will automatically be applied to the rates shown on the date of billing. The same is true of any modified or new legal or reglementary taxes imposed by the competent authorities. The city’s tourist tax is not included and must be paid on-site. A photo ID will be asked of you when you check in. The hotel does not accept cheques. All bookings are for the person(s) named only, and cannot be transferred to someone else, free of charge or otherwise.

Arrival time is from 3pm onwards

Departure is before midday

 

Payment methods:

 

The Company accepts payment

- in cash (euros only), only if made on site at the Hotel, and for amounts of less than 1,000 euros for Customers and Guests proving their tax residence in France or when the reservation is for business purposes.

- by credit card, on site at the Hotel, on the reservation platform accessible via the Site, or by secure payment link; the credit cards accepted by the Company are as follows: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

- by bank transfer, to the Company's bank account details, as communicated by the Customer or Host by e-mail to contact@salviaparis.com (all bank transfer charges are to be borne by the Customer or Host making the payment), subject to the Company's specific agreement.

The Company does not accept payment by bank cheque or traveller's cheque.

Prepayments are made by any of the above methods. The balance must be paid on arrival in cash or by credit card.

 

Travel ombudsman

In case of problems and/or complaints, you must first contact the director of the establishment by email at contact@salviaparis.com. If you do not receive a reply or satisfactory reply within 60 calendar days, you may appeal to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman. Their contact details and intervention conditions can be found at www.mtv.travel The hotel informs clients of the existence of the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform that they may also use. Telemarketing opposition list

French telephone contract holders can subscribe for free to ‘Bloctel’ to avoid telemarketing www.bloctel.gouv.fr

 

Right of retraction

In accordance with article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the Client does not have the right of retraction detailed in article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code due to the nature of the services provided. The contract is thus agreed and applicable as soon as the client makes their booking, according to the conditions detailed in the general sales conditions herein.

 

Applicable law and competent courts

The conditions of use are subject to French law. Unless required by an imperative legal obligation, all disputes concerning the content or use of the website are to be handled exclusively by the French courts.
